Cathy – Patient Treatment Coordinator
Cathy helps patients understand dental treatment options & sets aside time for the Doctors & Patients to complete treatments. Cathy shares, “it has been rewarding to see patients get a beautiful smile & the dental care they deserve.” At Bacsa Family Dental & Implant Center, she loves helping people improve their smiles. “I enjoy seeing people who have been fearful of dental visits become confident & comfortable in their choice of providers.” In her free time, Cathy can be found with her family, going on beach vacations.
Amy – Patient Treatment Coordinator
As a patient treatment coordinator at Bacsa Family Dental & Implant Center, Amy helps patients with scheduling, budgeting, & treatment plan presentations. She first joined the dental industry 20 years ago because she liked the idea of learning something new. When she’s not working, Amy spends her time with family, shopping, traveling, & visiting her favorite restaurants.
Kim – Patient Treatment Coordinator
At Bacsa Family Dental & Implant Center, Kim builds strong patient relationships while facilitating appointment scheduling as a Patient Coordinator. At work, she enjoys helping patients improve their oral health & creating a radiant, beautiful smile. Kim’s favorite part of her job is interacting with patients. She’s built many lasting relationships with patients over the last 22 years having worked with Dr. Rifkind prior to working with Dr. Bacsa. When she’s not working, Kim loves spending time with her grandchildren, family, crafts, hiking, & being outdoors.
Emily – Patient Treatment Coordinator
Emily loves working in dentistry because she enjoys helping people & finds her job very rewarding. She strives to be kind & personable & takes on each day with a positive outlook. Emily graduated from the Dental Assisting School at Walker Career Center & is X-ray certified. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband & Rottweiler & going to concerts & Colts games.
Cynthia – Treatment Coordinator
Finds immense joy in witnessing individuals rediscover their confidence through their smiles. Proficient in both dental assisting & expanded dental procedures, she embraces her role in facilitating patient journeys. Beyond her professional commitments, Cynthia treasures moments with her son & strives to share love & joy throughout her interactions. Known for her caring nature, Cynthia aspires to make a positive impact on the lives of others by fostering a warm & compassionate environment.
Ashley – Financial Coordinator
As financial coordinator for Bacsa Family Dental & Implant Center, Ashley verifies insurance, presents treatment plans, & helps patients check-in. Ashley has always held an interest in the dental field & enjoys helping patients get their treatments done without financial hardships. Ashley’s favorite part of her job is building relationships with the patients & her coworkers. “I like being able to help guide patients with insurance & finances when it is time for them to get the treatment done.” When not working, Ashley enjoys going fishing & traveling (to Disney!) with her family.
Makenzie – Dental Hygienist
As a dental hygienist at Bacsa Family Dental & Implant Center, Makenzie provides preventative oral care, cleans patients teeth, teaches patients how to maintain good oral health, & examines the patient’s mouth for signs of damage, gingivitis, & other diseases. She always enjoyed going to the dentist & knew she wanted a job in healthcare, working with people. However, her favorite part about her job is creating & maintaining relationships with her patients. When she isn’t working, Makenzie likes to workout, run, read, & spend time outdoors.
Heather – Dental Hygienist
Heather is a dental hygiene professional at Bacsa Family Dental & Implant Center. In her role, Heather evaluates her patient’s oral health & provides dental care. During their visit, she educates her patients on dental products & encourages positive oral care habits. Through her work at Bacsa Family Dental & Implant Center, Heather seeks to help patients “feel confident with a beautiful smile.”

Naturally, Heather’s favorite part of her job is interacting with her patients & building relationships with them as well as with her coworkers. In her work, Heather’s driving values include compassion, honestly, & optimism. Heather earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern Indiana & has a local anesthetic license. She spends her free time with friends & family as well as traveling, exercising, & enjoying all things Disney-related.
Karee – Dental Hygienist
Karee has always loved going to the dentist. Not only was she inspired by an awesome hygienist growing up, but her mom was an orthodontic assistant whose love for her job caused Karee herself to be interested in dentistry. Karee graduated from the IU School of Dentistry in 2010 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene, became certified to give locaI anesthetic in 2012 & then received a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies in 2020. Karee knows that many patients have a fear of the dentist & her hope is to lessen that anxiety & help patients feel more comfortable in her chair with a few good laughs. When she is not in the office, Karee loves to spend time with her husband & two boys. She also enjoys crafting & going to garage sales & flea markets.
Rosemary – Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Rosemary is an Expanded Dental Assistant at Bacsa Family Dental & Implant Center. She assists Dr. Bacsa & Dr. Toler to coordinate treatments & restore teeth. Rosemary initially joined the dental field because she enjoys meeting & talking with people. “I love to learn & enjoy creating things with my hands. It was a perfect match!” Her favorite part of her job is using her skills to improve patients’ health & feel better about their appearance – creating confidence through transforming smiles. When she’s not working, Rosemary enjoys spending time with family & friends, visiting wineries & breweries, live music, camping, hiking, hanging out with her dog Newman, working out, & doing craft projects.
Byron – Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
A highly skilled dental assistant who has been excelling in his field since 2016. He is certified in X-ray & has completed an accelerated program. In addition to dentistry, Byron enjoys spending quality time with his family & pursuing his musical interests. He has a warm & welcoming personality, dedicated to helping individuals achieve both oral health & self-confidence.
Keara – Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Recognized as a compassionate professional by her patients, Keara dedicates herself to addressing their unique needs with care & dedication. Trained at Indianapolis Dental Assisting School, she secured her radiology license in 2019. Beyond the dental realm, Keara thrives outdoors, indulging in gardening & kayaking while cherishing moments with loved ones. Her life’s purpose revolves around continuous growth & learning.
Erin – Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Erin has always had a passion for the dental field that has only grown as she got older. She loves building a relationship with her patients & it brings her great pride to be able to help transform someone’s smile & boost their confidence all the while easing their mind about being at the dentist. She graduated from IU School of Dentistry in 2012 & has both a radiology license & coronal polishing certificate. In her free time, Erin loves traveling, spending time with her two dogs & supporting local businesses!
