Meet Dr. Gia Matsko
Dr. Gia Matsko was raised in the beautiful state of Montana, where she attended Montana State University, earning a degree in cell biology and neuroscience. She later obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
Becoming a dentist was a natural choice for Dr. Matsko because it perfectly blends her passions for science, art and helping others. She deeply values the relationships she builds with her patients—working together to improve their oral health is profoundly fulfilling. Being a dentist allows her to apply her love for science and art while fostering meaningful connections.
The artistry involved in creating beautiful, functional smiles is incredibly rewarding for her as well. Dr. Matsko thrives on the opportunity to delve into complex cases to stay at the forefront of the field. While in school, she earned multiple awards for her breadth of knowledge. Now, she advances her knowledge with continuing education on everything from minimally invasive dentistry to beautiful cosmetic dentistry. She also maintains professional membership in the Indiana Dental Association, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
Giving back to the community is also a priority for Dr. Matsko and she has donated her time with Give Kids a Smile, Hope Dental Community Clinic and Global Dental Relief.
Outside of the office, Dr. Matsko loves spending time with her husband, Zach, and their cat, Nova. She also enjoys cooking, drinking coffee, traveling, enjoying family and friends, along with long-distance running.
